Any time you can see a family pattern, there is a generational issue in play.
Anything can “go generational.” Health issues, personality disorders, addiction, suicide, anything can be passing down generationally. If you can see it in the parents or grandparents, or if many siblings have the same issue, there is at least a generational component in play.
Not that there couldn’t be other variables involved as well for a particular individual, but the family pattern is a real contributor.
For instance, if you struggle with suicidal thoughts and so did your mother or father or grandparents, then at least part of your tendency in that direction is coming down the family line, fueled by the enemy’s legal right to continue it in the blood line.
